THEORETICAL
This part of the course starts with a 6 hour course in-class with an instructor. It is designed to introduce you to the essential aspects of operating a motorcycle as well as to prepare you to pass the S.A.A.Q. exam for the class 6R license. In addition to the material presented in class, you will also have access to our online training program that will enable you to further prepare for the knowledge test from the comfort of your own home.
*The knowledge test at the S.A.A.Q. is a multiple choice exam of a similar format as our online training, and is done on the computer at the S.A.A.Q.’s office. The mark required to pass is 75%. Once successfully completed, you can move on to the next section – practical training!
Practical Training - Closed Circuit
This part of the course requires you to do an 18 hour course on the road in a closed circuit environment. This is usually done outdoors in a parking lot where you will get used to the basics of operating handling a motorcycle learning how to shift, steer and drive in a safe way.
The following 6 exercises are focused on:
* The test at the S.A.A.Q. will be on the exact same 7 exercises practiced in the closed circuit section. The note to pass is 75%. You must hold this learners permit for a minimum period of 7 months. During the 7 months, you are allowed to drive on the open road, so long as you are accompanied by a fully licensed rider (you can each be on a separate bike).

At the end of the 7 months waiting period, you can go for an open circuit exam with the S.A.A.Q. and get your full 6A motorcycle license!
Open Circuit
In this part of the course, you will do a 4 hour course on the open road. You will go riding with your instructor and practice driving in traffic.
* Once completed, and after the 7 months waiting period, you can go for an open circuit exam with the S.A.A.Q. and get your full 6A motorcycle license!
